Thanks to all of you who have supported us on our journey so far, we have some great news to share with you! Frozen Factory has joined forced with international label WormHoleDeath to bring you our new album ‘Apocalypse Inc.’, which releases worldwide on 16th January 2026.
We’re excited for this next chapter, and we cannot wait to get the album out to you! For now, you can check out this preview!
We are incredibly excited to report that Frozen Factory will be heading to Chennai, India, in January – where we’ll be performing at the city’s iconic Saarang World Fest for international acts on Sunday the 11th 2026. So, if you can get there, please head to Chennai and join us for a big show!
We’re spending a whole week in Chennai, so let’s see what else we can get up to! Stay tuned for more news about our India trip and a series of other announcements on our social media channels!
As you can see from the picture below, we’ll be joined by the same talented drummer who powered our shows in Estonia and Latvia last year, Timmo Salakka!
Would you like to have your voice included on a future Frozen Factory record? We want you to record a short spoken line for us! All you have to do is read the statement below and then follow the instructions after it.
“I challenge you to tell me this human race completely dominated by social media isn’t utterly unbearable… Without sounding like you’ve totally lost the ability to pay attention to the facts and think for yourself.Because I don’t think I could claim that anymore, honestly.
I feel we’re sliding uncontrollably at this point and laughing at the sensation.
Not only are we losing ground on personal freedoms and wider justice, we’re sinking into our own lonesome pits – devoid of all else but our disgraceful fall towards ever more sordid meaninglessness.
And despite the swelling seclusion of our digital existence, we’re developing a greater and greater thirst for others’ suffering within the physical world.
Are we so convinced this will lift our experience before we part with it?I’m not.”
If you agree with everything above, we would like you to record yourself saying “I’m not” (making a clear phone recording will be good enough), and we’d like you to email your recording to us before midnight (GMT+2) on Sunday the 2nd of March 2025. When you do so, we need you to confirm in your email that you give us the right to use your voice recording in our music – within the context of the quoted message above – and that you will not claim any future financial compensation for our usage of your voice recording.
Thank you so much, we hope you’ll enjoy being a part of this!
We’ve got a brand new single coming out tomorrow 31st January, and this one has a very special twist. Stephen has stepped back from the mic temporarily to welcome incredible guest lead vocalist Riina Rinkinen, familiar to many as the singer of Finnish metal group Silentium.
Stephen explains, “I wanted to dive more into the story of a female character from our ‘Of Pearls & Perils’ album who never quite made it into the spotlight. She features on the cover art of that album and we hear about her briefly in the album’s title song, yet I felt there was much more to tell! I couldn’t take on the role myself, and when I discovered Riina, I knew she was the perfect singer to bring the character to life!”
Frozen Factory is back once again with TWO new songs packed together in a beautiful space-themed single, Can’t Fight The Spiral, which is out on Friday the 24th of May.
The visionary production of Frozen Factory bassist Tomi Hassinen and meaningful lyrics of singer Stephen Baker are set to take you on a journey through the galaxy, as the band ponder the fragility of life in ‘Can’t Fight The Spiral’ and the surely-seismic effect of discovering life beyond our planet in ‘Interstellar’.
Adding their unique storytelling flair to the tracks are long-time Frozen Factory drummer Marianne Heikkinen and relative newcomer on lead guitar Zsolt Szilagyi. Zsolt also takes a writing credit for Interstellar, which marks the first ever such credit given beyond the usual writing partnership of Tomi and Stephen. Be sure to pre-save the song using the link below, add them to your playlists and enter their vivid sound worlds with your eyes closed! Enjoy! 👊😁
I Am But One is our new song and the first single from our upcoming new album, which is set to be our 3rd full-length, following our previous album releases in 2020 (Planted Feet) and 2022 (Of Pearls & Perils) and the EP we released in 2021 (The First Liquidation EP).
Singer Stephen Baker had these words about the song release,
“We wanted to enter this new era with a bang. This will be our first album with Zsolt on board, and we’re feeling really energised and full of ideas. The upcoming album is full of our trademark twists, turns and storytelling and we’re sure you’re going to love exploring it. I Am But One is one of the heavier tracks and it’s all about realising that we’ve got to work together, look after each other and listen to the warnings coming from people who know their shit!”
Check out this new version of Host With The Most, a fast-n-heavy pondering of the wisdom of living in hope of an afterlife, which is originally from our 2022 sophomore album Of Pearls & Perils.
Check out this new version of Solar Windfalls, a prog-adjacent mini-epic originally from our 2022 sophomore album Of Pearls & Perils. The song is a tale of humanity’s compulsion to venture into the unknown at the expense of losing touch of our roots, and we always thought it deserves more attention!
‘Break These Ties For You’ sees the special return of Eetu ‘Eddie X’ Pesu on drums, who hasn’t recorded with the band since our 2020 album Planted Feet. That’s not to say pur regular drummer Marianne Heikkinen is out of the picture – she isn’t.
For those who love guitar solos, this single is the first opportunity to truly hear what lead guitarist, Zsolt Szilagyi, has brought to our sound, as he completes the song’s crescendo with a beautifully crafted solo. It’s safe to say there’s plenty more of that in store for the future. Just wait and see!
Stephen sums up the song’s meaning,
“In a world full of distractions that bring us down, this song is a love letter to what matters most. It’s a promise to do everything possible to stop being distracted and focus on what’s truly important. For many, the main distraction is smart phones, but it could be anything that holds you back from a fuller life. The letter could be to one’s self, family, friends, the planet or a passion of yours – anything!
Overcoming addictive social media, misleading press coverage, pressures at work and that feeling that time is going too fast is a huge challenge, but we must find a way. This song was made to feed that determination to finally break those ties, so you can concentrate on what’s important.”
